In The House
Additional beds: there are two double sofabeds on the upper floor and a single futon. You may use many combination of these spare beds if you require them, but please remember that the maximum occupancy of the house is four adults.
Due to the proximity of steep rocks, walls and steps, as well as low-level computer and TV equipment, the house is not recommended for toddlers. If you do have children of this (or indeed any) age, you are expected to take full responsibility for them.
Dogs are welcome but must be restricted from the lower bedroom and upper sofabeds, as well as from all other soft furnishings. The downstairs lobby and drying room can accommodate dogs comfortably - please bring bedding for them. Failure to respect this request will result in an extra cleaning bill after your stay. Please confirm with the owner about other pets.
There is a 32" LCD digital television and DVD player for your use, along with Freesat satellite TV & digital radio. This provides all BBC, ITV and Channel 4 channels, as well as many others.
There is a PC & broadband router connected to the TV for your Internet needs, including Wi-Fi wireless (or wired) access for your laptop or mobile phone. There is a limit on downloading of 2.5Gb per week - sufficient for email and general web browsing.
All outgoing UK landline calls of up to one hour are FREE from the landline telephone supplied. If any significant chargeable phone calls (eg to mobile phones or international) are made, these will be billed to you after your stay.
Books, playing cards & board games are provided, to borrow.
The property is heated by electric storage heaters, with a convector heater in the lower bedroom. Please note there is no freezer, only a fridge in the kitchen. Hot water is supplied by a timed electric immersion tank. There are fire alarms and extinguishers throughout the house. Downstairs, there is an electric tumble dryer and a drying pulley for clothes, towels and linen.
Your bicycle, canoe, surfboard or similar item can be stored either in the lobby or outdoors, behind the house on the decking. The risk of theft is very low, but remember your own locks if you prefer to secure your belongings outside.
The property is completely non-smoking, however there is an outside decked porch area with chairs and table. Please note that there is one short flight of steps up to the lower entrance, another flight to the upper entrance, and an internal staircase between the floors.
